Terrific News! The third and final edition of the 2017 Travel Discoveries Tour Catalog has been mailed to travelers' homes and the new digital issue (right) posted on our website. Spotlighted as "Last-Chance" trips are a few excellent, classic tours designated to go on hiatus after 2017 (as we try out other new itineraries in a region), including the popular Our Iowa & the Mississippi River and New York, New York!, and two foliage-season favorites, West Virginia’s Mountain Railroads and Autumn in New England.
The edition also features "sneak previews" of select tours now being planned for 2018, plus new departures for several previously limited or sold-out seasonal tours to some of this year's most popular destinations, as follows...
Country Travel DISCOVERIES is pleased to have added a new July 23-29 departure of our popular discovery tour, Nova Scotia & Prince Edward Island, after all three of its original departures sold out.
The all-new tour of these Atlantic Provinces coincides with the nationwide celebration of Canada's Sesquicentennial. The new departure date also immediately precedes the Tall Ships Regatta in Halifax, Jul 29-Aug 1, a festive bonus for travelers who wish to stay an extra day or two.
CTD is pleased to announce that we have added a new July 23-29 departure of the all-new Western Nebraska Life, to accommodate those seeking a summer trip after July 16-22 date quickly sold out. The trip is our second collaboration with the editors of Nebraska Life Magazine, and celebrates the sesquicentennial of Nebraska's statehood. Fall travelers may also enjoy a Sep 10-16 departure.
Where Would You Like to Go in 2018?
Hard to believe, but...even with a few more 2016 tours still ahead of us, and a packed 2017 lineup, we're already beginning deliberations over our potential new tours for 2018. We've received a lot of great suggestions that we'd like to share with you, so you can tell us: Which would be the top 3 group travel experiences of most interest to you?
