A Tour That Will Change You

In 1891, my great-grandmother was born in Warsaw, Poland. On the opposite side of the country, my great-grandfather was raised in an orphanage in a small coastal town called Rumia. Though three generations have passed, my family is still rooted in our Polish traditions and holds great pride in the triumphs of our rich, albeit at times difficult, history.

Part of that history includes Auschwitz, a dark season for this otherwise beautiful country. On CTD's upcoming Regal Retreats of Europe tour, travelers will have the optional experience to humbly walk the grounds of Auschwitz-Birkenau to remember and honor the victims of the Nazis’ genocide. Our time there will provide the somber details behind Germany’s mass extermination of approximately 1 million Polish, Hungarian, and other European Jews.

This time in Auschwitz-Birkenau won't be an easy day. In fact, it will challenge you. It will change you. But most importantly, it will remind you why we visit - to honor those who lost their lives and to pledge that we will "never forget".

This year, I invite you to personally join me on Regal Retreats of Europe for an option excursion that will provide an in-depth look at the history that forever changed my Polish people... and the rest of the world.

Sincerely,

Andrea Brooks

CTD President
