You Have To Hear This Story...

What if we told you the best souvenirs from a CTD tour are the friendships you make along the way?

Again and again, we hear from travelers that one of the best parts of our tours is discovering the unexpected connections and commonalities with people from across the country—people they might never have met otherwise. It’s amazing how a shared adventure can reveal surprising ties, whether it’s a hometown, a favorite hobby, or a mutual connection.

In fact...something truly special just happened on our Route 66 trip. Petey, from Louisiana, overheard Russ from Iowa mention that he served in the Navy during the early 1970s. As they chatted, they realized an incredible connection—Russ had served on the same ship as Petey’s late husband. Not only did the two men know each other, but they had both been stationed on the USS Dixon (AS37) in Norfolk, VA.

It was a heartwarming reminder of how small the world can be, and how CTD has a way of bringing people together in unexpected and meaningful ways.

Our goal is for you to leave every tour having unforgettable moments together that connect in ways beyond the journey itself. Whether you're swapping stories on a scenic cruise or bonding over a local performance, each moment is better shared with new friends!
