DAYS 1-2: WELCOME TO AFRICA!
Arrive in Cape Town today and meet your Tour Director. This evening is yours to relax and enjoy dinner on your own.

DAY 3: CAPETOWN/TABLE MOUNTAIN CABLEWAY

Start today with a guided walking tour of Cape Town, known as the “Mother City” for its rich blend of South African history and culture. Next, enjoy the best views of Cape Town from the Table Mountain Cableway and admire the magnificent surrounding mountains (weather permitting). Travel back to our hotel for a group welcome dinner. DAY 4: ROBBEN ISLAND/GROOT CONSTANTIA WINE ESTATE

Visit the famous Robben Island, once used as a political prison during the mid-1600s and see the historic cells. Return to Cape Town for a delicious waterfront lunch. Afterwards, we’ll visit the cellar of the Groot Constantia Wine Estate where we’ll enjoy tasty samples. B, L, D

DAY 5: CAPE OF GOOD HOPE/FLYING DUTCHMAN FUNICULAR/PENGUIN COLONY

This morning we’ll set out for the legendary Cape of Good Hope, which is amongst the most famous capes in maritime history. We’ll ride along Chapman’s Peak Drive and take the famous Flying Dutchman Funicular to the summit. Enjoy lunch as a group before we encounter the colony of African Penguins located in Boulders Beach near Simon’s Town. See these adorable penguins in their natural sandy habitat from a wooden viewing deck. B, L, D

DAY 6: JOHANNESBURG/APARTHEID MUSEUM

Today we fly to Johannesburg where we’ll enjoy lunch before visiting the Apartheid Museum, centering on South African history in the 20th century. Afterward, we’ll set out for a panoramic tour of Johannesburg, the city of superlatives. B, L, D

DAY 7: KASANE BOTSWANA

This morning we are off to Kasane. After a short flight, you will be transferred to your lodge by a small private boat. B, L, D

DAY 8: CHOBE NATIONAL PARK/FLOATING RESTAURANT/PRIVATE BOAT

Embark on a thrilling jeep safari adventure, delving deep into the heart of Chobe National Park and its majestic fauna. We’ll enjoy lunch in a “floating restaurant” with incredible views of the surrounding nature. Afterward, sail on the Chobe River to Sedudu Island on private boats. B, L, D

DAY 9: IMPALILA ISLAND

Explore the traditional villages of Impalila Island, immersing yourself in local culture. Opt for free time or join us for a scenic boat ride along the Zambezi River. Later, enjoy dinner followed by a captivating storytelling session with a local resident, offering insights into the area’s rich traditions. B, L, D

DAY 10: WATER SAFARI/PRIVATE PLANE RIDE

Enjoy one last water safari in the Chobe National Park area. After lunch on the water, we’ll set out for Kasane airport. On board small private planes, you’ll discover the stunning panoramas over Lake Kariba as we fly from Kasane to Kariba Zimbabwe. Next, it’s time to board the RV African Dream ship and comfortably settle into your room. We’ll start sailing across the lake as we enjoy dinner on board. B, L, D

DAY 11: LAKE KARIBA/GACHE GACHE RIVER

As the sun rises, we’ll embark on a scenic sail through Lake Kariba, venturing out on small private boats to explore the wildlife-rich Gache-Gache River. After returning on board for lunch, we’ll sail towards Changa, where we’ll set out once more on private boats to soak in the breathtaking sunset views. Conclude the day with dinner and an overnight stay on board. B, L, D

DAY 12: MATUSADONA NATIONAL PARK

This morning we’ll journey out on a safari to discover the area around Matusadona National Park and learn about its numerous wild animals. During this time, join an optional round table discussion to learn more about the creation of the lake, its inhabitants, and its ecosystem. B, L, D

DAY 13: KARIBA DAM/VICTORIA FALLS

This morning we’ll sail towards Kariba and travel to the airport. We’ll discover the gigantic Kariba Dam which was created to form Lake Kariba before flying out to Victoria Falls on private planes. For today’s lunch, cruise on the Zambezi River. This afternoon, enjoy a tour of the falls. B, L, D

DAYS 14-15: FAREWELL

After breakfast at the hotel, join us for the optional excursion below or relax before heading to the airport for your flight home. B

1.Luggage is very limited. If it does not follow the below specifications, it will be left behind on our inter-Africa flights and you will not have luggage for the rest of the trip. You would be responsible for returning to the African city on your own expense to retrieve your luggage after the trip concludes.
2. Only 1 checked bag per person. IT MUST NOT EXCEED 44lbs.
3. IT MUST COMPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING DIMENSIONS: Length 60cm x Height 40cm x Width 30cm OR
4. Length 23.6in x Height 15.7in x Width 11.8in (this includes measuring from wheels to handle in dimensions).
5. It must be made from SOFT FABRIC. Hard-shell suitcases are not accepted.
6. Luggage can only have a maximum of 2 wheels per bag.

Walking Distance
Moderate walking is required to fully enjoy this tour. Some walking will also be on uneven paths. While walking canes are allowed, we are unable to accommodate travelers using other mobility devices, including walkers and wheelchairs. Steady mobility is required for getting on and off the safari jeeps.
