DAY 1—WELCOME TO NEW MEXICO!
Fly into Albuquerque, host to the dazzling 2025 International Balloon Fiesta — the world’s premier balloon event. Meet your fellow travelers and Tour Director for an evening welcome reception. D

DAY 2—BALLOON FIESTA MASS ASCENSION
Start your day with excitement at the Dawn Patrol Show and the breathtaking Mass Ascension, where the morning sky fills with hundreds of brilliantly colored hot air balloons. Experience it all from your exclusive seats on the launch field or wander amidst the balloons. Discover the rich history of the renowned Balloon Fiesta with a visit to the Albuquerque International Balloon Museum. Later today, explore the cherished landmarks of Old Town Albuquerque. DAY 3—SANDIA PEAK/FIESTA BALLOON GLOW
Embark on the Sandia Peak Aerial Tram, known as the world’s longest tramway, for a scenic 2.7-mile journey above the Cibola National Forest to Sandia Peak. There, you’ll enjoy a panoramic view of the majestic Southwest landscape. Discover the rich traditions, art, and craftsmanship of the 19 New Mexican Pueblos at your leisure at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center. B, L

DAY 4—NEW MEXICO CAPITOL
This morning, enjoy an optional hot air balloon ride or relax at the hotel. (The optional hot air balloon ride is approximately $430 per person and can be booked on your own with information provided by CTD.) Next, we travel to Santa Fe, the nation’s oldest capital city filled with a unique blend of Spanish and Native cultures set against the backdrop of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. DAY 5—EXPLORE SANTA FE
Immerse yourself in one of the oldest, largest, and most successful growers’ markets during a visit to the Santa Fe Farmers’ Market. Admire beautiful works of art and explore the history of New Mexico at the New Mexico Capitol building. This afternoon, wander through the enchanting streets of Santa Fe on your own, soaking up the city’s unique art, culture, and charming atmosphere. B, D

Arrival Time
Our Welcome Dinner on Day 1 is off property of hotel. We recommend scheduling your flight to arrive by 3:00 p.m. and the hotel by 4:00 p.m.

Departure Time
Schedule your flight home to depart the Albuquerque Int’l Sunport any time after 1:00 p.m. on Day 6.

Our starting hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service to/from the Albuquerque Int’l Sunport Airport. If you are driving to the starting location, they also offer complimentary parking for the duration of the tour.
